These lights have 2 LEDs on each rubber plug, facing in opposite directions. Many instruments have holes in them for incandescent lights to plug in. The rubber plugs go right in those holes. Because the LEDs face in opposite directions and have built-in reflectors, the light goes all around inside the instrument, with no hot spots. And yes, they are BRIGHT!

I?�?ve had spec-d tuning headlights on my jeep for less than a year and both halo lights on one went out. I figured the resistor went bad so got the part number off it and ordered these. They came quick and fixed the problem. However, they are more of a white LED, others have a blue tint. They still look good, I?�?ll just have to buy a second set
